Flasks, manufactured from 33 expansion, low extractable borosilicate glass conforming to USP Type I and ASTM E438, Type I, Class A requirements are used in the analysis of dry shellac and shellac varnishes.

  • Designed from ASTM Specification E1404, Type II, Class 3 requirements

  • Minimal thermal expansion giving relatively high resistance to temperature changes

May also be used to determine the total iodine value of oils, fatty acids, and bodied oils with Rosenmund-Kuhnhenn reagent (ASTM D1541).
