Hyaluronic acid (from bovine vitreous humor), white powder
Supplier: MP Biomedicals
A high viscosity mucopolysaccharide composed of repeating dimeric units of glucuronic acid and N-acetyl glucosamine which forms the core of complex proteoglycan aggregates found in extracellular matrix.
Hyaluronic Acid is used in study of activation of the MAPK ERK following Leishmania amazonensis, infection of Macrophages.
High molecular mass polymer composed of repeating dimeric units of glucuronic acid and N-acetyl glucosamine which forms the core of complex proteoglycan aggregates found in extracellular matrix.
Dissolves at 10 mg/mL in analytical grade water to give a clear, viscous solution, after soaking overnight at +5 °C then stirring at room temperature for approximately 1 hour.
