Accutase® is the gentle replacement for trypsin in all adherent cell cultures and especially when working with sensitive cell types. It is a non-mammalian, non-bacterial ready-to-use solution.

It is a ready-to-use cell detachment solution made of collagenolytic and proteolytic enzymes. It is used for routine detachment of adherent cells from tissue culture plates and flasks. A multitude of cell types has been successfully sub-cultured with it, including fibroblasts, endothelial, vascular smooth muscle cells, as well as hepatocytes, embryonal stem cells, and many immortalised cell lines such as adherent CHO and BHK cells, HEK 293, L929, HeLa, 3T3, and others. It is free of mammalian or bacterial products.
Gentle detachment of cells for analysis of cell surface markers, transfection procedures, migration or proliferation assays, flow cytometry, and routine cell passage.
Composition: Accutase® enzymes (activity >500 U/ml) in DPBS without calcium and magnesium with 0,5 mM EDTA and phenol red.
