Conical Tubes with Screw Caps
Tubes Microcentrifuge Tubes
Eppendorf® conical tubes with screw caps offer reliable sample containment and leak-free storage. SafeCode variants enhance sample identification, while the BioBased options, manufactured using renewable resources, provide an eco-friendly alternative without compromising performance.

  • Polypropylene (PP) tubes, High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) screw caps
  • Ensures leak-free storage and protects sample integrity
  • Suited for a wide range of laboratory tasks, enhancing flexibility
  • High-quality materials for long-lasting, robust performance
  • Clear, visible graduations for quick volume assessment
  • Facilitates optimal sample recovery and efficient centrifugation
  • Available in 15, 25, and 50 ml formats
  • BioBased varients aid in the reduction of consumable-related carbon footprint in the lab
  • 2D Datamatrix (SafeCode) option features 2-level coding for safe sample identification

Eppendorf® Conical Tubes with Screw Caps epitomise secure sample containment. The screw cap ensures leak-free storage, safeguarding sample integrity during transportation and storage. Versatile for diverse lab tasks, these tubes offer durability and reliable performance. Clear graduations facilitate easy volume assessment, while the conical design aids optimal sample recovery and efficient centrifugation.

BioBased option: The Eppendorf Tubes® BioBased option open up new doors to make laboratory work significantly more sustainable without jeopardizing experimental results. By using a second-generation biobased polymer made from 90 % renewable resources (e.g. waste and residues from vegetable oil refining or waste cooking oil) the product-related carbon footprint of these tubes is significantly reduced. BioBased varients aid in the reduction of consumable-related carbon footprint in the lab. The bio-based tubes have identical material properties and technical specifications as non-BioBased tubes.

2D SafeCode options (Barcoded): A clean and stable label on the side or on the top of the vessel can make scientific life so much easier. Eppendorf tubes are available with SafeCode, a well-designed 2D barcoding system. Take advantage of the pre-labeled and durable 2-level coding of the SafeCode system (datamatrix code and clear coding) to enable safe sample identification. The safe sample ID is supported by additional online information about the dedicated consumable at the Eppendorf dataport.

A barcode is an optical representation of data which is machine-readable. Classic 1D barcodes code data by varying the width of the parallel lines as well as their spacings. Two-dimensional codes (2D) are based on dots, hexagons, rectangles, or other geometric patterns. These codes are also called data matrix codes. ECC200 error correction function enables safe code reading with up to 25% damaged codes.

Manufactured without the use of slip agents, plasticizers, and biocides - substances that have been shown to leach from plastic consumables into the sample and negatively affect bio-assay results.

Certifications: ACT label (25 ml), lot-specific certificates for the purity grades PCR clean, sterile; ISCC PLUS declarations (BioBased varient) can be downloaded from the Eppendorf website.
