Description: The 17A2 antibody reacts with the mouse CD3 complex, comprised of CD3 epsilon, CD3 gamma and CD3 delta. These integral membrane protein chains assemble with additional chains of the T cell receptor (TCR), as well as CD3 zeta chain, to form the T cell receptor – CD3 complex. Together with co-receptors CD4 or CD8, the complex serves to recognize antigens bound to MHC molecules on antigen-presenting cells. Such interactions promote T cell receptor signaling (T cell activation) and can result in a number of cellular responses including proliferation, differentiation, production of cytokines or activation-induced cell death. CD3 is differentially expressed during thymocyte-to-T cell development and on all mature T cells.

Catalog Number: (ICNA08674171)
Supplier: MP Biomedicals
Supplier Article Number:: 08674171
Description: Based on immunoelectrophoresis, these antibodies react with the heavy chains on human IgG but not with the light chains on most human immunoglobulins. No antibody was detected against human IgM or IgA or non-immunoglobulin serum proteins, but antibodies may cross-react with immunoglobulins from other species.
UOM: 1 * 2 mL

Description: Autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA) is an autoimmune disease characterized by antibody coated red blood cells that either lyse in the presence of complement, or are subject to phagocytosis by the liver and spleen, resulting in a severe anemia. Equine anti-Globulin reagent has been widely used for the diagnosis of autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA) in a variety of species. Although not common AIHA has been reported in the horse. Equine anti-globulin reagent is also useful in the neonatal isoerythrolysis test. The anti-globulin procedure has also been used in equine blood typing.

Description: Anti-IgG, C3 IgG Polyclonal Antibody
UOM: 1 * 2 mL

Catalog Number: (ICNA0855961)
Supplier: MP Biomedicals
Supplier Article Number:: 0855961
Description: Product is rabbit IgG (whole molecule) covalently coupled to Sepharose-4B, and packed in a polystyrene chromatography column.IgG affinity gel contains a proprietary ligand that retains most protein found in serum, ascites and culture supernatants, while allowing IgG to pass through the support and be collected in the flow-through fraction. Because this gel is not a bind-and-release support, it is extremely fast and gentle to antibodies, resulting in antibody preparations of high purity and high activity. IgG affinity gel works with antibodies from a variety of species and subclasses, many of which do not purify efficiently with Protein A or Protein G. The resulting recovery and purity of the IgG isolated by this method rivals that obtained from the same samples using bind-and-release supports such as Protein A or Protein G. Furthermore, antibodies purified with this gel are recovered ready for use in immunoassays or subsequent conjugation or modification steps; there is no need to neutralize or desalt the recovered antibody to remove harsh elution buffers.

Description: The complement system provides innate defense against microbial infection and is a "complement" to antibody mediated immunity. The complement system consists of thirty five interacting plasma and membrane associated proteins which contribute to host-defense and initiate and amplify inflammation, even in the preimmune state where specific antibodies and lymphocytes are not available. In addition to the complement components themselves, this system also contains several soluble factors that prevent spontaneous complement activation from occurring in solution, as well as, several regulatory membrane associated proteins that protect host cells from accidental complement attack. Cleavage of the C3 component by either the classical pathway or the alternative pathway releases C3a and C3b. C3a appears to be important in many inflammatory responses while the C3b fragment covalently binds to the cell or bacterial surface and plays a role in opsonisation. Binding of C3b to the C4b component of the C3 convertase, results in C5 convertase (C4b3b2a) formation

The total protein is measured using the Biuret procedure, with bovine albumin as a standard. Antibody titer is standardized to an in-house standard by equivalence-point precipitation. Each IgG fraction is tested for purity and specificity at a minimum of 40 mg/mL using immunoelectrophoresis. The product is mostly goat IgG; no trace of albumin is detected.

This product is suitable for use as a primary reagent in enzyme immunoassays, fluorescein immunoassays and blot, cell or tissue immunostaining. Note: F(ab')2 fragments are recommended for staining of cells or tissues which contain Fc receptors. The product has been successfully used in Immunoblotting. It detects C3 from human, equine, hamster, Guinea pig, murine, rabbit, rat, pig, and non-human primate samples. It does not cross react wtih bovine, canine, chicken, feline and sheep samples.
