Created as a result of the introduction of approved cure systems for fluoroelastomer polymers FDA-Viton tubing (FDA 21 CFR 177.2600) is the answer for challenging food and dairy applications using Masterflex peristaltic tubing pumps. It offers the best chemical resistance of any food-grade pump tubing, with tubing life identical to standard Viton tubing.
Masterflex FDA-Viton pump tubing is ideal for fluid transfer at high temperatures and is perfect for diverse food applications, from dispensing flavoring oils for candy production to transporting pickle brine. Temperature range is -25 to 400ºF (-32 to 205ºC)—ideal for transferring or dispensing chemically aggressive food products at high temperatures. As with all Masterflex pump tubing, FDA-Viton is precision-extruded for accurate delivery of fluids. It's manufactured to meet tight tolerances of Masterflex tubing pump heads, and will work in a wide variety of non-Masterflex tubing pumps.
